For reporting student absences, late arrivals and/or early pick up plans, here are three options:
- Enter an Absence Request via the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Log into the Infinite Campus Parent Portal and select "More" then "Absence Requests". Full instructions can be found here.
If you have a medical note, please email it to your school’s attendance email shown in option #2.
- Send an email to cepsattendance@mcfsd.org
Please include your child’s first and last name, the reason for the absence, late arrival and/or early pick up plans, along with name of your child’s homeroom teacher.
- Leave a voicemail:
- Grades KF-2 call the attendance line at 608-838-3146 Ext 1.

OTHER ABSENCE INFO: Please note that if your child rides the bus or goes to daycare, you also need to contact those organizations as well to inform them of the absence. We really appreciate your help in making sure all bases are covered when your child is out.
