HOW TO REQUEST YOUR TRANSCRIPT Using Parchment
You’ve applied to college, now you need to have your transcript sent!
McFarland High School has joined forces with Parchment to bring you Secure Transcript™ - the safe, paperless way to send transcripts directly to the colleges you choose. It’s easy, it’s secure, and it’s available 24/7.
Advantages of using Parchment:
- You will receive an email to confirm that your transcript has been sent
- You will receive an email to confirm the college has received your transcript
- Speed – Your transcript is sent electronically – no snail mail, no worries of lost mail
- Available 24/7 - just log on from any computer
Here’s what to do:
- Go to Parchment.com
- Sign Up - Select the Sign Up button to begin
- Register your Account
- Provide student information and make a decision for preferences. Press the Submit button to continue,
- Confirm Your Registration – You will soon receive an email from Parchment. Confirm your
email address to complete registration by clicking the link in the email to complete your
registration. After you complete this step, you can begin placing transcript requests.
- Use My Parchment Dashboard
- When adding a school, you will then be asked for enrollment information. Please keep this information
in a safe place for future reference.
- Complete the transcript authorization form
- A copy of your current transcript will be electronically put on file in your Parchment account. You are
able to view and manage this information. You still need to request a transcript through Parchment
when you are ready to have one sent to a college or university.
